Global Challenges - ``The lack of clean water``

Do you remember this blogpost? What are your thoughts about this issue?

Today we saw a movie called `` Last call of the Oasis`` that discusses several Global Challenges. That’s why; I’ve decided to write a blog post about one important Global Challenges, the lack of clean water.

This is what I found interesting about the movie: ``Last call of the Oasis``
Water. It's the Earth's most valuable resource. Our cities are powered by it, agriculture and other industries depend on it, and all living creatures need it to survive. But instead of treating it with care we've allowed it to become polluted with toxic chemicals and agricultural and industrial waste. And it's very possible that in the near future, there won't be enough to sustain life on the planet.
And now I’m just wondering how everyone can be supplied sufficient clean water without conflicts.
Water is vital for all functions of civilization, and without it, nothing can be done. Our life depends on it, and many people think (As one of the ladies in the movie said: we all have seen this picture out of space on the earth: there is plenty of water, why should we care?) I do not really think that people are aware of how important issue actually is. In Africa each year thousands of people dye because of the lack of clean or actually any access to clean water.  There are many ways to avoid this problem. As the professor mentioned in the movie, people are using  water unnecessary  like watering their lawns . People invented many ways on how we can avoid using too much water in our houses.
Just look at these links :

I think it is amazing what people are able to invent regarding environmental issues.
What do you think about waterless toilets, do you think that you would buy one and have it at your cabin instead of the regular one?
